Nilgai entered GK-2 probably from Jahanpanah Forest. Mr Himanshu Motvani a resident of S-472, GK-2 reported this to GKIIWA. We then coordinated with the Forest Department to rescue this Nilgai and move it back to the forest. GKIIWA team members Mrs Urmilla Yadav and Sanjay Rana reached the spot and fed the Nilgai.
Our MLA Mr Saurabh Bhardwaj helped sort the issue. He spoke to the concerned Forest officials. The Nilgai moved all along from GK-2 towards Alaknanda Market, Tara Appartments, Govindpuriand from there probably entered the forest area. We are thankful to Honourable Minister Mr Saurabh Bhardwaj and all others who helped to create a safe passage for the Nilgai back into the forest.
