I was desperately looking for a Jewel from the mines of Green park for the month of March. I knew that it is not an easy job but I did not give up . I was vocal about what I was looking for …an inspirational character of womanhood who is not less than any Jewel in worth. Mona Tulli Buddhiraja, who was introduced to me by a common friend, fitted well in my scheme of things. I was tempted to do her Profile and here it is for your perusal:
Mona Tuli Budhraja, a remarkable 51-year-old woman born and raised in Lucknow, embodies a rare combination of discipline, dedication, and an infectious, fun-loving spirit. Educated in esteemed institutions such as Loreto Convent, HAL, and Lucknow University, Mona’s academic journey laid the foundation for her illustrious career.
Married at the age of 23 to Gaurav Budhraja in Delhi, Mona seamlessly integrated into her new family, becoming a beloved member cherished by her in-laws. With two sons, Yash (25) and Tejas (20), Mona’s commitment to family extends beyond mere affection to hands-on guidance and education, demonstrated by her daily tutoring sessions with her children. She made sure she personally taught them until they were in school. She loves to cook and bake for her children and her friends and family.
As the Founder Director of a highly successful Senior Secondary School in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, Mona’s entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with the support of her husband, brothers, parents, Principal, and colleagues, has led to unparalleled success, with a track record boasting 100% results. Her former students, now accomplished professionals in various fields across India and abroad, stand as a testament to her dedication and mentorship.
Mona’s personal journey is equally inspiring, marked by a transformative weight loss of 25 kilograms over 18 years ago, showcasing her resilience and determination. Her disciplined lifestyle includes waking up at 4 am for cycling sessions with her group and incorporating strength training into her routine on select days. Despite facing fatal accidents in the past, such as being hit by a motorbike while riding her cycle on the Noida expressway, resulting in fractured ribs and her bike breaking in three pieces, she recovered and resumed her cycling passion within two months to Shimla on her cycle from Delhi.
In her school journey, Mona faced significant challenges as a beginner entrepreneur, including long hours at work, huge loans to pay off, the responsibility of managing both elderly in-laws and young children at home whom she would only see after 5 pm after leaving at wee hours in the morning when everyone was fast asleep.Despite these obstacles, her determination and resilience propelled her forward, she kept overcoming her everyday obstacles, ultimately leading to the success of her school venture.
Despite her professional and personal accomplishments, Mona remains grounded and fun-loving, a beloved figure in her social circle. She has a beautiful voice and is popular for her singing skills.
