My Experience With Samvada

My connection with Samvad is nearly eight years now. For me, honestly, it’s not just a monthly magazine; it’s a platform for sharing experiences and ideas. Personally, Samvada has significantly impacted my life for the better.

Eight years ago, I initiated an educational project aimed at providing free, quality education to underprivileged children, focusing on holistic development. Each month, we organize activities for them, which we then proudly share in Samvada. This coverage has tremendously boosted the growth of my initiative, providing it with much-needed visibility. Despite not being a registered entity, the articles in Samvada have inspired residents from my sector and even beyond to support my social cause in various ways. Not only that, my team and I have been honoured by several reputable organizations, and residents often refer us to others seeking similar educational opportunities for their helpers.

During the lock down when we were confined to our homes, Samvada swiftly transitioned to digital mode, enabling us to reach a larger audience. Samvada has not only given me a new identity but has also instilled trust in my educational initiative and fuelled my creativity.

I urge all the resident editors to continue writing and sharing your valuable thoughts because they are being read by the right people and making an impact. I strongly believe in the power of Samvada. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Nazish Zaidi(coordinating editor)  and Veenod  Aggarwal (editor in chief) for creating such a fantastic community. Thank you, Nazish, for never asking me to shorten my articles and for printing every word. Your provision of extra copies of Samvada to me and my students, as well as granting me the freedom to write, is deeply appreciated. Thank you, for ensuring that if my article doesn’t make it into the current edition of Samvada, it will be included in the next one. Thank you, for empowering me and making me a hero in my own life. I owe you a great deal. Lastly thank  you Akta Sehgal, Sarla ji and Seema ji for setting such a strong example for me and many like me to follow. God bless you all always and abundantly. You all are truly making a difference.
