Lord Shree Ram is the foundation, the idea, the faith,and the glory of Bharat. He is eternal. It was a divine experience to witness the sacred consecration of the Shree Ram Temple in the holy land of Ayodhya on 22 January 2024.
We are fortunate to be part of this transcendental moment after 500 years of struggle, unprecedented patience, and sacrifices of many divine souls.The rituals uplifted the Sanatana spirituality of millions of hearts across India and around the world, rejoiced in prayers, joy, and festive jubilation.
Wish Town Sanskriti Samiti(WTSS) organized the celebration of this occasion of Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav of Lord Shree Ram. The holiest celebration started with the procession of Shree Ram, Mata Sita, and Laxman, followed by prasad distribution, Diya illumination, fireworks, Mahaaarti, and cultural programs of dance, singing and Ramlila play by 40 professional artists.
The magnificence was accentuated by a splendid display of the grand procession of Shree Ram, Mata Sita, and Laxman characters on a chariot. Devotees in large numbers participated with saffron flags in hand and recited religious slogans gloriously.
The Divya Ram temple and bhajans performed by ladies in the tableau was a devotional experience. Residents offered puja. Refreshments for the devotees were arranged at many places enroute. The atmosphere was filled with divinity, as if it was a celestial manifestation.
Shree Ram Pran Pratishtha rituals at Ayodhya were telecasted live on a large screen at the sports field. As the day progressed, the atmosphere was illuminated with 51,000 diyas; the fire works were spectacular, as if Wish Town was celebrating Diwali festival!
SK Maheswari’s extraordinary efforts are truly appreciated for the herculean task of arranging 51000 diyas from Mangroli village, designing illumination of diyas brilliantly with help of FMG team and other residents.
Devotional cultural activities were presented by residents brilliantly in the form of dance and songs. Dr. DK Bhardwaj presented a brief history of 500 years of struggle and selfless contributions of KK Nayar, Kothari brothers, Jagadguru Ramabhadhracharya, KK Muhammad and other distinguished contributors.
Veda recitation and Divya Aarti by seven pandits along with devotees was a divine experience.
Ramlila by Dr. Anupriya Sinha and her team of 40 professional artists was a spectacular performance.They presented the essence of Lord Rama’s journey from His birth till Raajyaabhishek in the nritya natika form brilliantly and involved audiences emotionally.
The audience didn’t move from its place on such an extremely cold evening.
The planning and execution by WTSS have demonstrated not only a deep commitment to excellence but also a profound understanding of the cultural and spiritual significance of the occasion. The program was a testament to their dedication and hard work.
The seamless coordination, attention to detail and inclusion of various elements that touched every participant’s heart, the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav carried a sense of divine grace and cultural richness.
