If Winter Comes, Can Spring Be Far Behind

Eldeco Utopia adjudged Third in ‘Noida Flower Show’

“Flowers are the music of ground… from earth’s lips spoken without sound,” by Edwin Curran. After the lull of winters, everyone waits for the spring season when nature reclaims its vibrant colours and fragrant scents. Spring comes every year bringing with it warmth, love and light, but its arrival was truly special this year for the residents of Eldeco Utopia, a housing society nestled in the vicinity of Biodiversity Park flaunting huge variety of flora and fauna.

The residents of our society were already very proud of the greenery in their complex, developed by the previous RWA team right from scratch. The new team took the legacy ahead in the right spirit and worked really hard to make Utopia even more beautiful. As the spring season set in, Utopia came alive with the flowers in all hues and colours. The beauty of petunias, colourful cineraria and the dog-flowers, the eye-catching arrangement of gladiolus are just perfect for all to see what nature holds for us. Morning walks here have become not only refreshing and relaxing but enlightening also for the young and old alike as all the trees and flowers have been labelled with their botanical and common names for the first time ever.

In its maiden attempt to participate in the Noida Flower Competition 2023, Eldeco Utopia has been adjudged ‘third’ in the Housing Society Category, covering all housing societies of Noida and Greater Noida.

All Utopia residents and support staff who cooperated and contributed towards the beautification of the complex, directly or indirectly, deserve a huge appreciation for their tremendous efforts which bloomed huge variety of flowers in Utopia campus. The greenery was developed from a scratch in the year 2017 with the untiring efforts of Sayema Sehar and Shri Vineet Tyagi. The new horticulture team comprising Arti Videh and Lata Agarwal, supported by Brig Indrajeet Narayan from BOM, continued the good work and toiled very hard to make Utopia even more beautiful. The efforts of the gardeners need special mention. Salim Ahmad from S.A. Greens, Gardeners – Himanshu, Latur, Savita, Usha Surender, Rinkoo, Natthu Lal, Aman, Vijender, Dharma Pal, and Chandrabhan were all part of the horticulture team. Tripti and Sayantani also need a special mention for undertaking the task of putting up nameplates on all the trees of Utopia.

May Utopia rise and shine like this always and get many more glories in times ahead.
