Holi Celebrations Hattrick at Shiv Mandir Hauz Khas

Holi Celebrations started at Shiv Mandir on Friday 22nd March Amrit Vani Kitty group came together singing bhajans Badhaii Folk and Film songs. Sonu ki dholak par nachne sab Holi ki dhoom machi. Khoob kiya Dhamaal. Gujiya prasad Kaju Katli and Namkeen Prasad was distributed. Saturday people thronged Mandir for Holika Poojan since morning. Holika Dahan was attended by a large number of residents offering Prasad to the Holy Bonfire. Gaytri Mantra and Om Namo Bhagvate Vasudeva was chanted by all doing Parikrama. Peda Prasad was given to all . Kirtan songs and Holi Dhamaal and non stop dancing started at 7pm to 9 pm Victory of Good over Evil is always the message of Hindu Festivals. Sunday 25 th morning everyone came out to play Holi and gathered at Shiv Vatika. Drenched and soaked in colours of love and Camaraderie enjoying the feast with Matar Kachori Gujia and snacks. Thandaii was served “Bina Bhaang ke hi sab mastt hue the. All hues of Gulal and Chandan Teeka wala Manglik Holi Milan started at 11 am till 1pm.”

Atrangi Manrangi Satrangi Holi morning was full of fun and love.Cherry on cake was Folk Phaag classic songs by Kailash Pande of Y-81 Hauz Khas. Mesmerising songs soulful moments didn’t let people part so soon. Every event at Shiv Mandir is so well organised by the core members that it becomes Super hit. This year’s Holi was too memorable and enjoyed by one and all The and Sunday and Monday programmes were by the Association and the hard work of Chowkidars Ramesh, RajbHadur and Dinesh and Sh. Vijay Sharmaji, Secretary. No function can be successful without the lovely participation of the members. The enthusiastic and lovely support that we got from the members made our Holi celebration memorable. Thank you all friends. With your love and support we hope to have more memorable functions.
