The GKIIWA organized a Holi Get Together for the Colony residents at Tikona Park on 25th March`24. This was the first Holi celebration organized by the Welfare Association since Covid and was well attended with the residents participating in the celebration with joy and bonhomie.
The colours of the festival resonated well with the different hues representing the mix of the colony inhabitants. People cutting across age brackets sang and danced to the beats of the popular Holi numbers that were played by the DJ. The lavish display of comestibles added to the fun and frolic.
Residents thronged to the food stalls to sample the sumptuous selection of Thandai, fritters, Chaat, Poori Aloo, Gulab Jamun and Ice Cream. The celebration continued well into late afternoon and ended in a true festive spirit.
It was a very jovial event and residents participated with gusto. The spirit of Holi was palpable.
