Thieves Have Uprooted Rows of Electricity Poles
On Ribu Saxena Marg right from Munirka Marg to Hill View gate is completely dark as the street lights have been stolen. We had got BSES to fix the lights a few months back but now the thieves have uprooted some of the poles. So nothing can be fixed.
Are the competent authorities listening? The road is very dark and the foliage on the trees help in blocking the lights of which there are only 2 & 3 lights that work. Can BSES help to fix these lights please?
Same is the story in Vasant Vihar Main. The roads are dark mostly due to the foliage from the trees that is covering the lights.
Due to bad light the dividers on Poorvi Marg have become death traps. Also, they are not painted properly and at night invariably drivers bang on them unknowingly. This happened to us a few days back. But at the nick of time we noticed the divider in front and managed to stop our car. Car traffic police kindly take note of this and paint the dividers properly for easy identification.
