Arya Samaj Vasant Vihar Has New Management

The Arya Samaj Vasant Vihar, New Delhi, has elected a new managing committee, marking a significant stride in the propagation of the ideals set forth by Swami Dayanand Saraswati. With a renewed commitment to Ved Prachar (dissemination of Vedic knowledge), the committee aims to fortify its efforts in spreading the teachings of Swami Dayanand throughout Vasant Vihar and its followers of Arya Samaj.

The new committee consists of the following office bearers:

President: Santosh Kapoor

Vice President: Narendra Swarup

Secretary: Sumit Duggal

Joint Secretary: Sudhanshu Kansal

Treasurer: Yogi Suri

One of the flagship initiatives undertaken by the new committee is the organization of morning Yagya and discussions on Vedas for school children, youth, and residents of Vasant Vihar every Sunday. These sessions serve as platforms for not only imparting knowledge but also fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of Vedic teachings among participants. By engaging with the youth in a meaningful dialogue rooted in Vedic philosophy, Arya Samaj Vasant Vihar endeavors to nurture future leaders who embody the ethos of truth and service.

Beyond Ved Prachar, Arya Samaj Vasant Vihar actively manages various charitable endeavors that align with its core principles. The Charitable healthcare facility, Dukh Nivaran, exemplifies the spirit of selfless service by providing medical assistance to the underprivileged sections of society. The Anand Primary School caters to the educational needs of economically weaker section (EWS) students, offering them a pathway to a brighter future. Additionally, the vocational training center equips individuals with skills essential for sustainable livelihoods, empowering them to lead dignified lives.

Central to Arya Samaj’s mission is the preservation and dissemination of Vedic literature. The Vedic literature library curated by Arya Samaj Vasant Vihar serves as a treasure trove of ancient wisdom, accessible to all seekers of knowledge. Through the preservation and promotion of Vedic texts, the committee strives to ensure that the rich heritage of India’s spiritual legacy remains accessible to present and future generations.

We wish the new management success in their mission. (Inputs provided by Sumit Duggal)
