Maharani Bagh RWA Secretary Amitosh (98 11 66 2500) has written to the SHO New Friends Colony regarding the brutal killing of a street dog called “Money”, who was brutally killed in I-Block, Maharani Bagh on the night of Nov 30. While condemning this deliberate act of murder, he requested him to take immediate action and investigate this criminal act.
He pointed out that a concerned resident who used to befriend the dog has noted the sequence of events leading to the killing by viewing the footage on her CCTV camera and the same is listed below:
Sequence of event on the night of Nov 30/Dec 1 recorded on my CCTV with the time stamp.
At 3.27 am an unidentified man on a white scooter wearing white shirt and black half- sleeves sweater can be seen driving down the road in I-Block. At 3.29 am: The scooter goes on its way, you can see Money the dog is barking at it.
When it goes past her, the driver stops and looks at her for about 25 Seconds. Then he began to drive off but the dog followed him. He turned left, backs the Scooter (dogs is still behind him). He stops the scooter. At 3.30 am the man now returned on foot, holding what is apparently a rod or stick at 3.30 am, he can be seen lifting the rod and hitting the dog. When she runs, he followed her again. Again she runs and a third time too he hits her.
After this he runs fast to the left lane with the road in his hand. It’s 4.53, the dog is still alive and can be seen trying to walk. She comes to rest at 4.56 just outside own of the guard houses.
We also fear that if such kind of criminal elements are walking around freely in our colony, the safety and security of the residents and their children are also compromised.
