Having witnessed the uncertain pandemic times, we all are certain that anything can happen anytime anywhere.
The lanes of DLF Phase II witnessed such an unexpected & unpleasant incident where the helpers turned out to be a nuisance rather than a support system for the residents. One of the residents raised the issue of their maid being harassed by Gardner who is a regular for the nearby residents for a long time.
The maid and her family members had approached the resident saying that the gardener had assaulted the maid physically multiple times and threatened to kill her if she ignored his requests. Though she backed out from filing a police report. However, many residents came forward in support of the gardener vouching for his character and behaviour.
On the other hand, witnesses from the place of the physical brawl incident, the Mother dairy Outlet owner claimed that the maid had initiated the physical hitting episode upon which the gardener reacted by wildly assaulting the maid in a public place. One of the samaritans of the society took the plunge to investigate the matter, and ended up having a video recording too.
It turned out that the two parties involved had exchanged money which played the spoilsport ultimately leading to them playing the dirty blame game. These helpers turned out to be an annoyance due to their deeds and very cleverly include the angle of sympathy to shield their misconduct.
These people need to learn that taking advantage of others’ trust is not acceptable rather disadvantageous for them in the long run.
