I have come to enjoy the Holi celebration at ATS One Hamlet. Meet a wide cross section of residents, smear gulaal on each other, spray friends & neighbours with (coloured) water, dance unabashedly to the DJ’s tunes, & cool down sitting in the garden – what’s there to not like?
2024 Holi was organized in the amphitheatre & the surrounding gardens. The DJ belted out Holi songs to which we grooved. Even the hot Sun didn’t stop us from dancing. Such a fab sight to see the elderly enjoying! Children, in the meanwhile, were busy Playing!
The gardens were used to meet & greet, & to set up impromptu picnics. The camaraderie was glorious! A few food stalls had been put up at the skating rink. I could smell the aroma but didn’t get a chance to sample anything. There’s always the next year!!
With the colours thrown up, Hamletians renewed their cordiality. See you in 2025!!
