Like every year this year too the home of Vivekta in C4 was abuzz with activity for 10 days. She does the sthapana on the first day of Ganapati and for next ten days her home is converted into a temple like abode reverberating with the sounds of chants and devotional bhajans. Ladies from the neighborhood visit her house daily to offer their respects and receive prasad. The Visarjan is done on the 10 th day with great fan fare, love and devotion. The chants of “Ganapati Bappa Morya” fill the air with serenity. Bappa is bid farewell in an eco friendly way with a prayer in everyone’s heart to request him to come again the next year to bless them. Such celebrations bind the community together and bring in happiness and joy.
