Hariyali Teej was celebrated by the ladies on 7th September. The rituals include fasting and praying for the well-being of the family. However, as a precursor to the festival, all of us ladies in RPII decided to get into a celebration mood a couple of days earlier. On August 4 all of us met up dressed in bright, beautiful, and colorful outfits and got together for some fun and food and lots of masti. Everyone was welcomed with a tikka on their forehead and a little shower of flowers. Very soon we had the house full and lots of excitement in the room. We danced our hearts out to the fabulous music played by the DJ. After that, we played lots of fun games which truly lifted everyone’s spirits. We were having so much fun that we didn’t realize that the time had passed so quickly and it was much after lunch time. However, a sumptuous meal awaited us. How could the day be complete without taking pictures and selfies? It was an enjoyable afternoon spent with the beautiful friends of RPII.
