Independence Day at Windsor Court was celebrated with great patriotic spirit. There was tambola, kite flying, and patriotic antakshari which soon turned into normal antakshari with everyone singing and participating. The flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest of the day – Mr. Nihal A Chaudhry, and as the flag unfurled, there was a shower of rose petals. The food was amazing – we had chole bhature, samosa, pav bhaji, boondi ladoo, and many more yummy dishes. There was even a free ice cream cart which all the kids flocked to in the hot weather. Kids and adults both participated in kite flying. Tambola was a big hit as all the adults enjoyed playing it. Everyone had a lot of fun throughout the morning and turned the Independence Day celebrations into a memorable one.
