Prateek Wisterian Senior Ladies celebrated Mother’s Day on May 12 at the Front Club. The event was organized by Sunita Ji and yours truly, and was attended by a large number of ladies. The program started with lots of fun, including dancing, singing, and poetry. Two ladies, Bala Ji and Nirja Ji, were nominated as super women for their continued strength and resilience. A fashion show was also held, with senior ladies elegantly dressed in traditional sarees, walking the ramp. Participants included Shakuntala Ji, Mithlesh Ji, Jyoti Ji, Manorma Ji, Meena Ji, Gyanwati Ji, Nirja Ji, Shashi Ji, Archana Ji, Tripta Ji, Praveen Ji, and Sarita Ji. Beautiful poetry about mothers and today’s women was presented by Abha Ji, Rekha Mittal, and Teji Ji. The fashion show participants were honored with tiaras and bouquets by Prakash Ji and Sunita Ji. The program concluded with everyone enjoying mouth-watering Bhalla chat, followed by a vote of thanks by me.
