On the 24th of March, HolikaDahan was performed by the wellingtonites. The celebration commenced at 7pm by WECA near Mother Dairy.Ladies performed thePooja before the pious fire was lit. All the residents gathered around the fire sang and danced. Some of the ladies sang devotional songs. Some smeared gulal on each other’s forehead and wished Happy Holi.There was also a Chat stall for all to savour.
