Community events are only getting better at Suncity! The month of February witnessed two warm gatherings in lush green park no.3. The book lovers of Suncity met for a community reading session and the sports enthusiasts met for a fun-filled sports meet.
The members of the Suncity Book Exchange club decided to meet in park no.3 on a fine Sunday morning to read their favourite books together while enjoying the pleasant sunlight. It served as a great opportunity for book lovers to interact and passionately discuss their favourite read. Although a lovely initiative, this session was low on participation. Residents are highly encouraged to look out for such sessions to meet more fellow Suncitizens while engaging in thoughtful discussions.
Moreover, the ladies of Suncity gathered for a fun sports session in Park 3. Sports activities serve as a good opportunity for adults to break away from the humdrum of daily life and re-live their childhood. Ms. Garima Agrawal, a resident of E block took the initiative of organizing this event. She believes that engaging in games and sports is essential for mental and physical well-being. With the participation of over 15 women, a fun-filled session was held where games like Human Chain and Dog & the Bone were played. This was followed by a jovial dance party. Now every Saturday from 4-5 pm, park 3 sees this warm gathering. Ladies of Suncity are encouraged to participate in this meeting, be assured that you’ll have a great time!
