GJCSCF held its monthly meeting on 30th December 12 pm onward at Gulmohar Park’ club courtyard. The purpose of the venue decided was to enjoy sun and have a quality time. Mr. Sahay welcomed all the members and said that this is the last month of the year, I wish all the members along with their family members a very happy, healthy and prosperous year ahead on behalf of GJCSCF and myself. He also informed that management is planning a visit to “STATUE OF UNITY” VADODARA” and AHMEDABAD during Feb first week. The interested members should submit their consent before seventh January so that the programme could be finalized.
He further stated that the forum is very proud that some of our members are doing very well at national and international level. He mentioned Mr. Umesh Sahdev has been appointed as authorized business representative for Albania in India for promotion of business and trade between India and Albania. Mr Pradeep Chaturvedi was felicitated and has the honor to read his paper as chief speaker on Energy Conservation Day at the institution of Engineers. Ms. Nirupama Verma has received second prize on her short film
“LIFE TAK” series by CFPB at CREATION ARTS Festival judged by distinguished juries like Justice BN Sri Krishana, Nandita Das, V Sabale, Dolly Thakore M, Merchant .
After that Madhu Bhandari took charge and made the Tambola quite mysterious for members. It was a modified version of Tambola. Mrs. Veena Sharma was the first one to cross all the words off her slip but Madhu announced that there is a twist in game as the winner is Mr. Azad as Veenaji had his name slip. The prize was given to Mr.Azad. The Gulmohar Club recently held its election and the existing team has won with a huge mandate. The GJCSCF invited newly elected members to felicitate and congratulate them at 1.00 PM. Mr Y Sahay welcomed all VPresident Anil Jain, Y.Bhandari, R. Narayan, Kumud Grover, Manpreet Singh, Nitin Mantri P Upadhyay (President Mr Ranga, Ms Nirupama Verma, Mr. Kharbanda was out of town). He said that the Gulmohar Centre has progressed all round and became one of the best club. With the guidance, supervision and management of this managing committee, we hope it will reach new dimensions in the coming tenure. The club management and GJCSCF management has a good Association and have always cooperated with each other. I hope we will continue it in future. Mr Manpreet Singh stated that his entire team has worked efficiently with dedication, cooperation for all round development of the club and we will continue it. To maintain punctuality among members the forum has started to honor the first three members who reach the venue on time with prize. Mrs.K.Dev, Mrs.M Sehgal, Mrs.Renu jain were the lucky ones to have the prize for being punctual. After that Mrs M.Sahgal presented a melodious gazal, Malvika Thakur sang oks वो जब याद आयें बहुत याद आये, Mr. V. Bhan सुहाना सफर और ये मौसम हॅसी in their sweet melodious voice. Everyone enjoyed the depth and soothing effect of words and music. Mr Azad presented token birthday gifts to all boys and girls whose birthday falls in the month of December. That was followed by cake cutting and a photo session. Delicious Amritsari kulacha Chhole Chatani, Rayata and hot gulab jamun was on the menu for lunch. All Enjoyed the lunch with pleasant gup shup and December sun.
