Once again this winter The Palms- Woollens Project took off to a good start. While our numbers have been dwindling our spirit has not. A small group of us knitted and crocheted caps, topis and mufflers for children and young adults for Cancare. Thanks to the generosity of donors we are able to procure the finest quality of wool to execute the project.
With a good mix of residents who donated for the wool and residents who gave their time, heart and soul in making the woollens we were able to send two large consignments to Mahavir Cancer Sansthan, Patna.
This is our sixth consecutive community project.
A special mention to the senior citizens group (Amita Sinha, Vimala Mathur, Satya Kakar, Anjana Wasal, Nalini Mehra, Anu Kapoor) Ronika, Radhika and Shivani (treasurer) for all help extended.
Gratitude to all those who made this possible. To our beautiful community The Palms.
