In accordance with the instructions of the District Registrar, a special meeting was called on Thursday, 28 September, wherein the required quorum was not met. Therefore, a special GBM was called on Sunday, 1 October, at 10 AM in the Clubhouse Multipurpose Hall, 3rd Floor.
The single – point agenda was ‘Voting for the Presidential Position of AOA.4 Board’. This was one of those long weekends where many first owners had planned outstation trips with their families and therefore could not be present for the historic GBM!
Yet, the turnover of the first owners dramatically exceeded the ones who had earlier voted during the annual elections! It was a phenomenal and unanimous show of residents’ sentiments and support to Prabhakar Bhardwaj as, out of a gathering of 171 first owners, 170 voted for Mr. Bhardwaj by a ‘Raise of Hands’!
Vice President, Mrs. Seema Narang chose not to vote for either of the two candidates. With this very crucial development, it is hoped that all the members of AOA.4 work with more synergy and renewed zest!
