Prosthetic Limb Camp by Rotary Club At Gurudwara Nanaksar

17 lives transformed by electronic prothetic limbs

On the auspicious day of 23rd July 2023, the Rotary Club of Delhi Regalia, in collaboration with the Inali Foundation, hosted a transformative Prosthetic Camp at Nanaksar Medical Centre, located in the serene Nanaksar Complex near Gurudwara Road, ahead of Arya Samaj, Greater Kailash 2, New Delhi. The camp was executed with the unwavering dedication of Mr. Neeraj Aggarwal president of Rotary Regalia, who led the charge along with his team members to ensure its resounding success along with the wholehearted cooperation of Ms. Meenakshi Malhotra, the General Secretary of Nanaksar Medical Centre.

The chief guest, Padma Shri Dr. Chandrakant Pandav, fondly known as the “Iodine Man of India,” graced the occasion with his presence and lauded the endeavor for its noble cause.

The primary objective of the camp was to provide a renewed sense of hope and independence to individuals in need by equipping them with electronic prosthetic limbs. For months, Mr. Aggarwal and his team tirelessly sought out suitable candidates for this life-changing opportunity, and their efforts culminated in transforming the lives of 17 individuals.

As the recipients received their electronic prosthetic limbs, the joy and gratitude on their faces were truly priceless. Many of them had been struggling with mobility challenges, and the gift of a prosthetic limb promised them a brighter future with enhanced mobility and self-reliance.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Aggarwal shared that this project held a special place in his heart, and he expressed his sincere gratitude to Rotary and Inali for providing the platform to make a significant difference in the lives of these deserving individuals. He also pledged to continue such philanthropic endeavors in the future, vowing to put forth their whole-hearted efforts whenever an opportunity arose to create positive change.

The Prosthetic Camp organized by the Rotary Club of Delhi Regalia and supported by the Inali Foundation has exemplified the power of collective efforts and compassion. By providing electronic prosthetic limbs to those in need, they have not only restored mobility but also renewed hope in the hearts of these individuals. It serves as a reminder that with dedicated individuals and organizations working together, small acts of kindness can have a monumental impact on the world.
