With the advent of Summer Holidays for children, the PPRWA team organised an exciting Summer Camp for Kids between 25–31 May. The plan was chalked out according to which children were exposed to multiple fun and exciting activities across all these 6 days of the camp.
As there were 34 children of multiple age groups, they were divided into 2 batches. The camp began with the “Ice Breaker Activities”, the first activity, conducted by Sweta Srivastava (H501). It helped the children to open up and get to know one another.
Then the children were split in 2 batches and ”Art and Craft Class” was conducted, these classes were taken by Smita Mathur (A405). This made them focus on their creativity; few were unaware of their creative interest, which they realized that day.
It was followed by ”English Is Easy” class. It was conducted by Disha Pandey (H109) and Hiran Chetry (B312). A nice interactive session, it was a bit of hard work for the children. We anticipated and had arranged for light snacks/food to be served. This gave the children time to relax and relish the refreshments.
After lunch break ”Maths Is Fun’’ classes were taken up by Taruna Malik (E401) and Diya Kapoor and Bhavna Chaudhary. To break the monotony of only learning and add elements of joy, we also organised a “Fun Pool Party ‘’ for children on a Sunday and a Movie Afternoon. It added to a lot of refreshing memories for them. To ensure that our children get good quality and hygienic food, the food was prepared with lots of love by “our esteemed PP Chefs”: Vasundhara (E206) and Sweta Patel (D507).
The well-planned schedule for the 6-day summer camp was carefully prepared – beginning with easy to intense and then winding up with fun. Parents appreciated the efforts!
