Shiv Mandir was tastefully decorated with flowers and lights for Navratri & Bhagwan Ram Janam utsav. Mandir was kept open all these days, so that devotees could come anytime for darshan. Mata ka shringar comes from छतरपुर mandir in a procession with a band. Welcome reception is given in Shiv Mandir by devotees and mandir committee.
On 22nd March, Mata ka new attire and shingar was done. 22nd to 29th March daily Mata भजन were sung from 2pm to 5pm. Every morning at 9am देवता, नवग्रह, kalash and vidhivat puja was done. On 29th March ie. on ashtami Ramayan Akhand पाठ began at 10am & bhog on Ramnavmi was followed by havan. At 12 noon Ram जन्म was welcomed with shankhnad, ringing of bells and arti.
Ladies and devotees welcomed Ram janam with harshoullas. Kanjak पूजन of 60 kanjak with Prasad, ?20/- dakshana by mandir and chunnis by devotees was done and given to each kanjak. Finally bhandara with chane, fresh bhature, कड़ी, rice and gulab jamun, coffee, cold drink was enjoyed by about 250 to 300 persons. Mandir pardhan M L Chopra ji, personally gave all ladies a saree or suit and a beautiful Potli containing narial & moti mala with mata pendant and fruit. All the men got kurta, pant pieces and fruit and potli with coconut & moti mala with mata pendant as celebration of Bhagwan Ram Janam and his blessings.
