I feel such a close affinity with nature that I feel I am actually an extension of it. A few years back circumstances forced us to break our house and turn it into flats. I decided to take the ground floor and worked closely with the architect to take out a large balcony, of course at the cost of making the flat a little smaller but that didn’t bother me.
Since it is an architect-built building, I had the luxury of designing it the way I wanted. I painstakingly created a little garden on the balcony with miniature trees and plants and a beautiful sit out. It is my favorite place in the whole house with my art collection and plants merging into each other. A wood and wrought iron bench and 2 old yellow painted chairs form a welcoming seating.
Everyone visiting me feels drawn to it and want to sit there only. I feel blessed to have such a beautiful little garden in a small flat.
