Hindus observe Pitru Paksha, as a 15-day ritual to honour our departed family members, near & dear ones and friends. According to the beliefs, the rituals performed during this period help the departed souls to attain moksha or salvation.
fter the full moon time of Bhadrapada, the fortnight starting with Pratipada of Krishna Paksha of Ashwin month up to Amavasya is called Pitru Paksha. In the year 2022, Pitru Paksha was from 10th September 2022 (Saturday) till 25th September 2022 (Sunday).
These rituals create a sense of respect for our elders and learning for the younger generation. The lucky ones, who still enjoy parental affection must respect and do the utmost for them so that they have no regrets at a later date.
We at Youngistan Adda remembered the members who left us to be on the other side of the rainbow. Special remembrance was for the lovely and lively couple of Satish and Renu Malhotra who were snatched away from us by the Corona pandemic, both departing within a space of 4 days. हर वर्ष पित्रा पक्ष का जब होता है आगमन।

गुण धर्म सभ्यता संस्कृति रीत रिवाज हमको ही आगे बढ़ाने हैं। हमको ही संस्कार सिखाने हैं पूरखों के ऋण चुकाने हैं। खुश होते होंगे हमारी तरक्की से, गर्वित हमारे हुनर साहस से। आओ पुनः याद करें, आशीष लें, जो धर्म निभा ना सके, उनकी क्षमा माँग लें उनसे। खुश रहें, किसी को दुखी ना करें, हँसते मुस्कुराते रहें बाकी जिंदगी भी हम।
