With that spirited attitude, the elders met at the Clubhouse for spending an entertaining memorable evening together on Thursday, 25 May. It was a lovely, relaxed evening with great performances by various participants, but the highlight was Suman ji’s great classical performances.
Suman Devgan (10254) is a versatile artist with a mellifluous voice. She has made an indelible mark in light classical music, ghazals and Sufis music. Her unique emotive singing style gives a true portrayal of the poet’s theme and depth.
Suman is a top-grade artist of All India Radio, Sangeet Natak Academy and Doordarshan. She is an empanelled performing artist of Indian Council of Cultural Relations.
Suman is known for her compelling live performances. She has gained immense critical and popular acclaim in most cities in India and in many parts of the world including the United Kingdom, Canada, Doha-Qatar, Singapore and Malaysia.
Excellent arrangements, versatile performances and sumptuous food are the key words for the Elders’ Meet. Thanks to the team of organisers – Anand Sabarwal (10141), BR Sharma (11091), Alok Sahadev (5161), Rajiv Chopra (ये तो हमारे दिल में रहते हैं) and RS Lal (7023) – for the smooth programme.
Not to forget all the volunteers who collected the contribution and the photographers for capturing the moments.
Long live Youngistaan Adda!
