International Yoga Day is observed every year on June 21 to raise awareness about this ancient practice and to celebrate the physical and spiritual prowess that yoga has brought to the world. Yoga is a practice which plays an important role in relaxing the mind and body and boosting people’s immune system.
RP1 and Hamilton Court residents celebrated Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and energy. President Mr. Surinder Yadav initiated to celebrate International Yoga Day on 21st June 2024 under the guidance of Dr. Amit, a Yoga instructor. All EC members and RP1 residents attended the Yoga session. Post Yoga of almost 45 minutes healthy drinks and fruits were distributed to the participants. All residents thanked the President and Col. G Keswani who inspired them to participate in all the activities throughout the year and maintain harmony.

The contagious energy of Yoga Day was also seen among the Hamilton Court residents. A revitalizing yoga session was organised at the Hamilton Court to celebrate the global spirit of unity and wellness. The event commenced with a comprehensive introduction to Yoga Day. Aishwarya Sahu, a yoga teacher, conducted the one-hour session and residents practiced a few yoga stretches, breathing exercises, and meditation to experience the transformative power of yoga under her guidance.
