A two day Yog Shivir was organised at Saket Dham by a Yog Seva Sansthan from 11th to 12th March 2023 in the morning hours from 07:00AM to 08.00 AM. This yog shivir was held in the club house of Saket Dham apartments in a protected environment. Quite a good number of health conscious residents of the society participated in the yog shivir.
Yogiraj Karan Dev, the yog guru taught the residents very useful pranayams and yog aasans.
The breathing exercises mainly included Anulom-Vilom, Bhramri pranayam and Om uchharan etc. Yog aasans practiced were Surya Namaskar, Taad Aasan, Trikone Aasan, Usht Aasan and Shav Aasans etc. Exercises like cycling, all around movements of feet, legs, hands and neck were also suitably sandwiched in between the yoga schedule. These yog aasans and pranayams are the nectar of life and panacea for all types of diseases from head to foot if practised daily and regularly. Besides the above, briefings and health tips were shared by the yog guru and interaction with the residents were also very beneficial.
Although short, it was a very useful and well executed programme. Saket Dham still retains and maintains the tradition in fulfilling the requirements of health and wellness of its residents as always and remains eager to grab any opportunity to hold such yog shivirs from time to time at its premises.
