An unfortunate incident that occurred involving a stray dog.
Sushmita Giri (D 108) was bitten by this ferocious dog near the Kalibari Mandir. This incident has been distressing for her and her family, and she is currently undergoing medical treatment.
While we understand that the law safe guards the stray dogs domain and the area they belong to, but it’s crucial for us to collectively address safety concerns to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. It’s our shared responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone in our community. As responsible residentss, please implement measures that ensure a safe environment for all residents, especially our children & senior citizens. Let’s ensure the safety of all by putting muzzles on the aggressive dogs who are roaming in public places. It’s not only about our furry friends’ safety but also about creating a secure environment for everyone. RWCS should form a committee of EC members and some dog lovers and dog activists to address and solve this problem. After all dogs are muzzled all over world to keep them away from hurting others.
