With the collective efforts of RWA and residents
As stated in the cover write-up, we highlighted the actual present condition of Sector-50. Look around, we have all means to make our sector clean. We have beautifully developed parks in each block and the Central Park, which has given a nice green cover to the sector. As we reported last month, in the write-up ‘Every Day = Earth Day’.
The shortcomings of the sector, as stated in the cover page are facts but that are not impossible to work on. The only thing required is determination of residents and concerned stakeholders. Sector-50 RWA can play a very important role to make our sector green, clean and safe. Although RWA is doing some task which can be appreciated such as getting cleaned the vacant plots, fogging for mosquitoes, tree trimming etc. But this is just a very small and insufficient task in comparison to the required task.
Many RWAs in Noida are efficiently and effectively keeping their sector clean, green and safe. Our sector can also and definitely become a Model Sector if the following is ensured by the RWA.
- All kitchen and green waste is collected regularly and put in the Energy bin installed in green belt near Kothari School.
- No C&D waste is kept on the road side but sent to collection site.
- All bills removed and not allowed anywhere inside the sector.
- All drain are repaired and covered with proper slabs.
- All unauthorised wires and cables are removed.
- Unauthorised venders are removed from the sector.
- Strict action is taken against residents taking their pet dogs on roads sides and parks, but not collecting the poops of their dogs.
- Monitoring the activity of all concerned deployed by any Authority or other stakeholders including UPPCL.
Let us hope for the best from our RWA, who has to be more vigilant and earn name for itself for being one of the efficient and effective Welfare Associations of Noida.
