A yellow parasitic creeper, Cuscuta, had started spreading over a big Bougainvillea bush at the corner of the road leading to ‘Eden’. If left unchecked, it would kill the host bush and spread to other plants in its vicinity. Anita Soni (B9) brought this to my notice, and I immediately asked Sagar Bhola (of SCRWA) to get the needful done. Timely action seems to have saved the bush as of now but some remnants of the Cuscuta have begun to spread their yellow arms around the Bougainvillea and we need to thwart this Yellow Fever again.
