WTSS Games 2022 was organised in September and was an amazing success with the Wishtown Residents and their families. More than 450 entries were received in the 10
Games that were played through tough competitions and friendly Basketball Exhibition matches together.
They began on the morning of 3rd October in Club3, with the motivational inaugural address by Dr. Bhure Lal, a Retd. Senior IAS officer and an anti- Corruption & Anti – Pollution crusader, with a ping pong display of Table Tennis by him with the Sports Event Coordinator Suresh Sharma.
Games were played on the three weekends beginning 3rd September upto 18th September and culminating with the T 20 Cricket Match between the two Wishtown teams – Blues and Reds, in the lush green Cricket Ground of Maharishi University, Noida. Competitions were very tough in Badminton, Squash, Table tennis, Cricket, Lawn Tennis, Races and Pool table and in Carrom & Chess the response was good.
In Basketball, friendly Exhibition matches were played by the two Seniors /Juniors teams. The sportsman spirit and the enthusiasm with which all the games were played by the participants together with the cheering up done by their families and friends was worth a million dollars.
WTSS Management would like to thank the Residents for their active participation and for allowing WTSS to build an environment of positivity full of competitive sportsman spirit .
