Pearl Court again took the lead in celebrating World Environment Day on 5th June 2024 by inviting children in the age group of 5-14 years to participate in various activities to show their creativity in the need for protecting our environment. Many kids of Pearl Court came forward and took part in these activities: making use of waste in the home for decoration etc, Fancy Dress competition, Poem , Painting competion. The theme of all these activities was “Our Earth, Our Future.”
All the kids came up with brilliant ideas and every child was eager to show how they envisioned the world in a greener, cleaner light. All participants were given plants as token of our appreciation and encouragement. Prizes were also distributed to the winner in each category. Many senior ladies under the leadership of Mrs Anita Mitroo, also assembled on this occasion who guided and encouraged the kids. The event concluded by inspiring the youth to plant more trees, reduce waste and recycle of reusable waste to reduce overall pollution and thus protect our environment for the future of generations to come.
“Today, we celebrate not just our environment, but our future,” he said. “These paintings show us a world where nature and humanity thrive together. It is a world we must strive to create.” Mrs Anita Mitroo ji asked all participants and ladies to be present on this occasion.
