The final World Cup cricket match engulfed everyone, and those who had never watched games were also glued to the TV, displaying support for Team India.
Everybody was thrilled because the World Cup 2023 Final match was on 19th November. Not only cricket lovers but the whole world was watching the game eagerly. WECA grabbed the opportunity, and the Wellington W1 lawn was decked with food stalls and a big projection screen for the live final match. Everybody was praying for India’s victory. As it was Sunday, residents, especially youngsters, arrived on time and waited to telecast the match. What started as a great start for Team India, turned sluggish after the first ten overs. With a brilliant cricket display, Team Australia won the World Cup.
