World Cup under the moonlight sky The 2023 ICC men’s cricket world cup was the 13th edition of the cricket World Cup and was hosted this time by our proud country India the day international was played over 48 matches from 8 October to 19th November 2023 after winning all the matches and playing against Australia in the finals Indians wanted to boost the spirit of hosting country with great energy and good luck.
The scenario has changed over the years with screens jumping out from living rooms to clubs, cinema halls and open grounds. For the first time, Princeton RWA had given this opportunity to the residents to witness the cricket magic under the pleasantly cold moonlit night sky. Huge screen with sound system, carpets and chairs were well organised at the football ground. Indian flags were kissed with the winnowing wind. All participated with kids and elders cheering up to every ball and bat. As the games progressed people relished chaat, golgappa etc with hot tea and coffee. Although India lost the finals but spirit of cricket never died at the Princeton grounds and elsewhere in the country.
