Noida Authority in association with an organization organised the world cleanup day at Noida Haat and sectors including sector 39 Noida.
The programme started with a run of 1km at Noida Haat alongwith runs at individual sectors of Noida. All participants were given T shirts and caps , post which medals to all winners and certificates to all participants .
The event had all the characteristics effective awareness , campaign which included recreation , education and inspiration .
Environmental cleanliness begins with a personal desire to be clean and we have to make our cities clean from any filth .
The stalls for ( 3R’s – reduce, reuse recycle) recycling products and environment awareness were setup . Stalls focused on reduced usage of plastics and ewaste in our daily lives . The products made is natural things were also demonstrated thru trashion walks .
The programme culminated with a cultural evening of odyssey dance proformance followed by band performance .
Programme highlight was recognition and prizes distribution by esteemed guests to best stalls and products .
As a citizen of the country we have the responsibility to follow the 3 R concepts, minimise our wastes including e- wastes, participate to clean the environment and keep sustainable for our future generations.
