It has been learned that the work on the B and C drains will begin imminently. This will fulfil the long-standing demand of residents who are facing problems with stinking clogged drains and backflow happening in houses. The Noida Authority has taken out tenders for the same in the past few months, but these were cancelled due to unknown reasons. RWCS President Govind Sharma has requested that residents come forward to supervise the work when it starts and as it progresses. RWCS has a list of parameters that were shared by the NOIDA Authority. So supervision is needed to ensure that the work is done properly, like when good-quality bricks are used—not kacchi but pakki bricks — or that the slabs are aligned well.
