The PWAOA General Body Meeting on April 25 marked a significant milestone. The meeting paved the way for the formation of a new AOA managing committee for 2024-25, a crucial step towards ensuring the smooth functioning of the society. The election process began with the formation of an Election Committee, comprising 10 dedicated members who were chosen after a seamless nomination and withdrawal process. i J.K. Khurana and Rakesh Narula, the Returning Officers, expertly guided the election process, inviting nominations for various posts from enthusiastic residents. The candidates campaigned tirelessly, engaging with residents and presenting their manifestos in an open house on June 7. This provided a platform for the candidates to make their final pitches to the voters, outlining their vision and plans for the society.
The voting took place on June 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and was followed by a seamless counting process. The Election Committee declared the winners, who were: , Navneet Johri – President, Vikas Sehra – Vice President, Nikhil Kumar – General Secretary, Satya Prakash – Treasurer, Sanjay Kumar Singh – Executive Member, Amanpreet Singh – Executive Member, Sanjay Gupta – Executive Member, Saurabh Srivastava – Executive Member, Vinay Singh – Executive Member, Vinit Kishore – Executive Member.
