Wishtown Winter Carnival 2022 A Cultural Extravaganza by WTSS

With Christmas and New Year around the corner, Wish Town residents celebrated Winter Carnival on 24 and 25 December 2022 at Club 3 grounds with great joy and happiness. It was an eclectic way of bidding adieu to another legendary year with unlimited fun, frolic, and merrymaking in the chilled weather.

The Carnival was inaugurated with a lovely parade, by adorable young kids decked up in traditional Christmas attire. They sang and danced to Christmas tunes. This made a beautiful beginning with a blend of traditions and joyful moments.

The carnival was adorned with Christmas feels with a huge Christmas tree and some popular cartoon characters. Wish Town residents experienced the exuberant celebration and fun filled days with numerous games’ stalls, art and craft corner, artificial jewellery & winter clothes’ stalls, an aromatic food court, along with a Dry Cleaning & Laundry services company stall by a young entrepreneur.

Kids demonstrated their business skills with a variety of games’ stalls. These stalls enticed residents of all age groups to try their hand. It was wonderful to watch the kids handle their first business ventures.

An array of food was on offer for the residents to feast on such as rolls, kebabs, chat, pani puri, chowmin, momos and many more.

With its Got Talent show and a short drama, the Winter Carnival encouraged and promoted talented individuals by providing them with a massive platform. They showcased their skills to the proud parents and the whole world.

The dance performance by the young kids representing an NGO was an electrifying moment as their energy and performance were beyond the best.

The fashion parade and well-choreographed dance performance by the beautiful Wish Town ladies was a great visual spectacle. The music, dance, and the lovely expressions by graceful ladies made the evening livelier and more cheerful.

At ‘You Think You Can’, the stage was set on fire by residents wherein they showcased their dance skills. There wouldn’t have been a better place for music and dance lovers to be at this chilly evening than the Wish Town Winter Carnival.

It was a mesmerizing moment and unforgettable experience that left the crowd craving for more. A lucky draw at the end was a big surprise for the crowd. The lucky ones of the evening went away with lovely prizes like Alexa, fitness bands and electric kettles.

Lastly, WTSS contributed to a noble cause by distributing blankets to underprivileged kids representing an NGO. The Wish Town Winter Carnival was, surely, one of the most unique and great cultural experiences for the residents.
