Last month, all residents of Windsor Court received their very own ‘Bag of Green Goodness’.
Under the initiative and guidance of the EcoWarriors group of Windsor Court, it is now mandatory for all households to segregate their green waste. Every day, nearly 30 kg of kitchen waste is collected, composted, and converted into manure which is then used in the Windsor Gardens and sometimes distributed among residents.
A daily ‘Bag of Effort’ by the residents is transformed into a ‘Bag of Green Goodness’, while also reducing the piles of garbage that would otherwise end up in the landfills. Indeed, a wonderful endeavour by the Windsor family.
