The Noida Authority has taken action against encroachment and unlicensed vendors in nearby markets such as Brahmaputra Market and Indira Market. This has led to complaints by many residents, especially ladies who used to go to Indira Market to buy fruits and vegetables. When one was chatting with an Indira Market shopkeeper about where to buy fresh veggies from, one was advised to visit the road outside Marigold Public School, Sector 19, as that was apparently the Noida Authority-approved hawker zone.
