I moved into Malibu Towne two years back. I came to Malibu because my brother-in-law and his family were living here for more than 15 years. Why I came… is a story for another time but how my brother–in–law came to stay in this Township is what I will narrate here.
My brother-in-law with his young family moved from US first to Mohali and subsequently to Gurugram as a Telecommunication professional in year 2007. He has been an outdoor person actively engaged in sports, so for house hunting; he would drive around various housing societies and try to get the feel of the place. His criteria for selection were simple; any place which is thriving with the playing children is a good place and also, if elders too have a place to meet and spend time together, then the heart of the community is in place. On one of his searches, he drove to Central park at Malibu town. He saw children playing, got out of his car, walked up to a group of seniors relaxing and chatting and asked, “is there a 3BHK flat available?”. Immediately, one of the members escorted him to nearby WW lane to an available flat and in no time the deal was made.
This is how their journey of raising a family at Malibu Towne started. We would visit them at least twice a year and Malibu Towne always charmed us with its style and beauty in plenty.
