What Do I Remind Myself In Dealings With The Local RWA?

1.They are people who volunteered for community service while many declined.

2. Theirs is an honorary job.

3. If I were a part of RWA in the past, did I try to fulfil the expec-

tations I now have?

4. When I expect response almost 24/7, do I forget that they also have families and a life beyond RWA!

5. Do I remember they are not super humans?

6. Did I try to solve the problem myself first?

7. Am I trying to involve RWA in settling bilateral disputes?

Can I try and use a fellow resident/neighbour as a mediator?

8. Am I using my interaction with RWA for self-projection?

9. Do I remember that RWA functionaries have been elected and trusted by a majority of residents before I start to challenge them?

10. I am dealing with a team of members with diverse backgrounds and it is normal for them individually to deal with a situation differently!

11. I can be firm without being impolite.

12. Lastly, am I ready to act as a volunteer if & when RWA needs one in a role where I can contribute?
