Living in high-rise apartments is a boon as the residents here get support, safety and togetherness in all situations; be it when celebrating festivals or while raising common concerns. As more and more people are increasingly shifting in apartments, the neighbourhood markets have also opened up to make the residents’ lives easy, comfortable and luxurious.
There are amenities, huge spaces and greenery around the apartments. However, there are certain basic items and facilities which are still missing and for that, people have to commute to far off places as these are not available or rarely available in nearby shops of the apartments.
Some of the shops that are missing are hardware shops, sanitary shops and paint shops. People don’t know where to go in order to get pipes, nails, taps, paints, building materials, plumbing supplies, tools etc. The materials required for construction or repair for home improvements are generally not available in the nearby market. The nearby shops are mostly grocery shops, pharmacy shops, clothes shops, stationary shops, eatery shops, etc. However, even a medical healthcare doctor and nursing homes are missing. People ask each other for a good general physician, an orthopaedic or a dentist clinic.
ATMs are also not available at most of the nearby markets. Even fresh vegetables and fruits shop is either missing or rarely available in the nearby connected market. These are also basic, daily needs’ shops whose fulfilment needs have got unnoticed or overlooked. Also, taking a printout or a photocopy is a tedious task as people have to go to faraway markets, as the photocopy shops are also mostly not available.
A full-fledged nearby market having all the shops, which cater to all the needs of the residents, is a top-most requirement that is right now missing but can be fulfilled if gets noticed.
