Thank god at least we have something to fall back on when it comes to our own home environment. A great garden is not just a myth. It can save us from a lot of health hazards.
Enlisting some of the secrets to a healthier you.
Jade: easy to maintain and grow, these plants along with peace lily and snake plants are a great option for your balcony as well. Found in many homes of sector 39, they help purify the air around you.
Snake plant: also called mother-in-law’s tongue, this is a potent air purifier and survives in a variety of lighting conditions.
Aloe Vera: found across all homes of sector 39, in the mandir, and at the parks, it removes carbon monoxide from the air along with its healing properties.
Rubber plants are an air-purifying wonder which eliminates formaldehyde from the air. It releases loads of oxygen and drives out bacteria from the air.
Bamboo palms: tall and elegant they can thrive in direct and indirect sun and infuse a lot of moisture in the air around you. You won’t mind them in winter for sure.
Dracaenas: this large group of houseplants comes in all sizes, shapes and colours
Spider plants: has slender neon green leaves and its fall is beautiful. Look great in hanging baskets. Often found in many offices as well. Nontoxic to animals and kids around.
Weeping fig: also called as Benjamin fig, this is also an aesthetic choice for your home decor. Needs less sunlight and more humidity.
Hibiscus: not only useful in your daily spiritual activities, but its flowers and leaves are also great for your skin and hair as well.
If you have a balcony, or a one room setup or an entire home, try bringing some of these plants at home and see the difference in your mood and health.
