It’s been 4hrs, there is no light.
Oh! What a dreadful sight
The inverter is also gone for a toss,
I wasn’t prepared for this loss.
Day 2: Electricity went again
“ Quick! Quick! Shut the extra lights and fans
Or the inverter will die and we’ll be in vain”
So proud of this promt thinking by my brain.
Day 3: electricity was out
We had to take the same route
We were prepared, We knew the drill by now
Everything went smooth with our inverter and how!
Day 4: electricity didn’t go
All the lights and fans that were NOT in use, were on a show
I wondered, “we were scared what would happen if the inverter went down the drain..
We aren’t worried if the power never returns again??”
Be it nature’s gift or human-made light,
Let’s conserve, be mindful, and do what’s right.
Our Earth is giving more than we can repay,
So let’s protect her in every way.
