The Apartment Owners Association (AOA) Board of Management (BOM) results were announced on Saturday, 30 March. The newly appointed BOM (which includes some members of the previous year for continuity) is eager to carry forward the good work initiated by the earlier team with dedication and continued support of all Hamlet residents.
Here is a brief introduction to the new BOM position holders and members –
Col. Gurvinder Singh (12032) – President
Commissioned into the Indian Army’s Regiment of Artillery in December 1978, Col. Singh served for over 36 years before retiring in 2015. From 2016 to 2021, he held the Officer in Charge (OIC) position at ECHS (Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) in Meerut.
In August 2022, Col. Singh moved to AOH, bringing extensive experience in security and man management.
Professor Nita Verma (7263) – Vice President
Prof. Verma has had a distinguished academic career at Delhi University. She has now transitioned into a global online and offline counsellor, life coach, and motivational influencer for adults and children. Known for her expertise in enhancing personalities and influencing positive change, she is passionate about writing, gardening, spirituality, fostering positive mental attitudes, and advocating for holistic lifestyles.
Mr. Viggya Harsh (11181) – Secretary Harsh is a seasoned finance professional with a diverse background, having worked in different roles, including Strategy & Planning, Budgeting and Accounting during his corporate tenure. In 2018, he started his own business in the FMCG domain and has a flair for problem-solving and innovation.
Harsh aims to work towards significant improvements at AOH, with the support of all stakeholders.
Mr. Yashpal Singh Bhati (11164) – Jt. Secretary
Yashpal has extensive experience in liaising with civic authorities & government bodies, and his experience will be crucial in effectively representing AOH’s needs and concerns to the authorities as needed.
Mr. Pawan Garg (14054) – Treasurer Pawan is a seasoned finance professional with 28+ years of expertise in strategy, finance and legal functions across varied industries, including infrastructure, ITES, and manufacturing. He is now practising as an Insolvency professional and virtual CFO, leveraging his extensive experience to offer strategic financial guidance. Pawan was pivotal in facilitating the smooth transition from ATS to AOA.
Mr. Anand Sabharwal (10141) – Member Anand has a background in pharmaceutical marketing and has also been actively involved with South Delhi RWAs. His passion to contribute to the betterment of AOH motivated him to become a part of the BOM.
This is Anand’s second consecutive term in the BOM.
Mr. Kailash Agarwal (7124) – Member One of the earliest residents at AOH, Kailash has been committed to giving back to society in his spare time. He values transparency and believes in fostering inclusive community activities.
Mr. Nikhil Singh (11254) – Member Nikhil is a technology sales leader with extensive experience in the communications domain. He loves challenges & comes with a problem-solving mindset. This is his third consecutive term in the BOM.
Mr. Shahnawaz Khan (8253) – Member Shahnawaz has a rich experience in leading BOMs & is also a seasoned IT professional. His experience will help him complete major projects at AOH. This is his third consecutive term in the BOM.
Mr. Sudhir Kumar (8022) – Member Sudhir brings a wealth of experience, spanning 38 years of dedicated service across various governmental levels and roles. His invaluable experience will help the BOM to strategize and navigate critical tasks with the relevant authorities.
The AOH residents look forward to a wonderful year of enhancements under the aegis of the new BOM committee and to making AOH a vibrant, healthy, and safe community to reside in.
