Welcome the Miracles of Nature!

House Sparrows once also called the ‘common birds’ are ‘rare species’ now. These birds which were once spotted in abundance are hardly spotted anymore. The urbanization, change in climatic conditions, pruning of trees for beautification and other factors are pushing them towards extinction. At least in the urban areas.

Similar is the case with many other birds. We humans too have stopped welcoming them and rather shoo away when they come making nests in our balconies over our ACs. If you are one of those who wish to spot these pretty miracles with wings come chirping in your greens, then make a few small efforts.

  • Keep earthen pots for water for them at various places. • Keep seeds for them in bird feeder. • Make or buy bird houses. • Don’t over prune your trees at least in summer months. • Educate others to join the effort to save these birds #SaveSparrows. • Educate children to empty their school water bottles in plants or in feeders than just draining it away. • Educate house helps to discard the mop water in plants than in drain. • Make small shade for birds to come and rest. • Keep some seeds for them in the open – enjoy their presence and help them survive.
The above best practices we are following in Maestro complex. Children are becoming conscious and conscientious to the do(s) don’t(s) of an eco-friendly living.
