To thank Lord Shiva for a peaceful 2023 and arrival of beautiful 2024 and for the welfare of society and residents, a weeklong Shiv Puran, katha recitation and rudrabhishek was organised by Vandana Khanna and Savita Phogat at C 21 sector 39 in coordination with a spiritual organization.
A beautiful background stage with floral decoration was decorated for the 7 day event.
Daily rudrabhishek and puja was done of shivlinga made from honey, frozen ghee, black, yellow soil, sandal powder and frozen curd. Puja was performed in morning and evening katha daily which culminated with bhajan and kirtan.
Katha was recited by pandit Atul Krishan and team. Abhishek and puja were performed in the morning by several residents to get blessings of the almighty for overall wellness and a peaceful happy new year 2024.
During the 7 day period the devotees of lord Shiva submitted themselves to the power and strength of almighty.
A dance recital was also presented by the spiritual organization team where Shiv Parvati dance and bhajans were presented which mesmerised the devotees. Last day, a havan was performed followed by a Bhandara for residents thereby culminating the 7 day seva of the almighty.
Efforts put in by Vandana Khanna and Savita Phogat were appreciated by all participants for organizing such a wonderful and mystical event.
